About this opportunity

Candidate Connect LIVE is CFA Society Toronto's in-person evening for candidates rather than established charterholders. It runs Wednesday September 23, 2026 from 5:00–7:30 PM ET at the Society's office at 120 Adelaide St W, Suite 2205 in downtown Toronto. The evening is built around a moderated panel with charterholder volunteers on membership and career growth (about 20 minutes of discussion plus 20 minutes of open Q&A), 'Membership Bingo' as a low-pressure networking game, an hour-plus of open networking with fellow candidates and Society volunteers, and early access to sign up for the Candidate Mentorship Programme before spots open publicly. Light catering and drinks are provided. The catch to plan for: it is open to Associate Members of CFA Society Toronto — the entry-level category for CFA Program candidates — and registration itself is free. If you are writing the CFA exams, this is a far more structured way to meet people in Toronto finance than cold-messaging on LinkedIn.
