Terminal X26: one-day Toronto hackathon

About this opportunity

Terminal X26 is a single-day hackathon on Saturday, November 28, 2026, running 9am–5pm at Toronto Metropolitan University (245 Church St). Teams of 3–10 build together and compete for $3,500 CAD in prizes ($2,000 / $1,000 / $500, awarded per team). It is open to university students, high schoolers and self-taught builders; anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian's permission. Applying with a team is free, but registering only reserves an application — up to 25 teams are selected. Selected attendees buy a $19.99 + tax Event Pass that covers meals, drinks and the Connections session. Applications close November 14.
