DAAD RISE Germany 2027 — summer research internships

About this opportunity

RISE Germany matches undergraduate students with PhD students at German universities and research institutes for a three-month summer research internship in biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences, engineering or a related field. The working language is English — no German needed — and DAAD pays a monthly stipend toward living costs for the three months. Applications run October 15 – November 30, 2026 (11:59pm CET); reference letters are due by December 15, and placements are announced around February–March 2027.
