About this opportunity
MaRS Climate Impact is MaRS Discovery District's annual climate-tech conference, held in person at the MaRS Centre in downtown Toronto and online on November 17–18, 2026. Programming runs across three tracks: policy, politics and capital (including where early-stage investors are putting money); an innovation spotlight on ventures raising seed and Series A rounds and on emerging work in agriculture, wildfire sensing, carbon removal and materials; and adaptation and resilience. The format is interactive panels, debates, breakouts and company demos, and recordings of selected sessions are made available to attendees afterwards. If you're trying to understand where climate and cleantech careers are actually heading, this is a room full of the investors and operators making those decisions. Students can buy virtual tickets at 50% off with the code STUDENTDISC, using a school email address.
