Gates Cambridge Scholarship 2027

About this opportunity

Gates Cambridge is an international scholarship programme for outstanding postgraduate students at the University of Cambridge, set up in 2000 with a gift from the Gates Foundation. Applications for 2027/28 entry are open. The US round closed on 14 October 2026; everyone else applies through the later round, with a deadline of either 8 December 2026 or 6 January 2027 depending on your course — check the 'Course Funding Deadline' in Cambridge's course directory. Shortlisted applicants are notified in March and offers go out in early April 2027. You apply for the scholarship as part of your Cambridge graduate application.
