About this opportunity
Beyond its one-week October programme, Toronto Public Library runs free Digital Innovation Hub classes year-round at ten branches, plus Pop-Up Learning Labs that rotate to different locations monthly. Sessions cover things like 3D design and slicing software, digital creative tools and related technical skills, and computers are typically provided for in-person classes. Everything is free. Many sessions need advance registration with a Toronto Public Library card, booked through the library's events calendar, which shows remaining seats and the registration deadline per session; popular classes fill fast and may offer a waitlist. Hub equipment — including 3D printers — can also be booked separately from classes. This is the lowest-stakes way in the city to try a skill before paying for a course.
What you get
- Free hands-on classes in 3D design and digital creative tools
