About this opportunity

ACCES Employment's Job Search Workshops (JSW) put a group of newcomers through five days of interactive, computer-based pre-employment training covering résumé preparation, cold calling employers, networking and interviewing, alongside labour-market and sector-trend information and insight into Canadian workplace culture. Participants also get one-to-one job search coaching from an employment consultant, a personalised action plan, referrals to ACCES's Speed Mentoring and The Mentoring Partnership programs, connections to employers and job openings, invitations to recruitment and networking events, and post-hire support including business communication and language coaching. There is no fee. Intakes run on a rolling basis: you register for an upcoming information session first, through the chat assistant on the ACCES website.
