About this opportunity

IT Accelerator gives youth aged 15–30 technical skills training plus job search preparation, coaching and a route into work experience and full-time employment. It is delivered online, full-time, in class, over six weeks, and is best suited to people looking to build cloud computing or general technical skills. The program includes financial assistance toward IT training from a recognised provider (non-IT training may be considered), hands-on learning, future-skills work such as problem solving and workplace communication, peer group sessions, connections to employers offering work experience and full-time roles, one-to-one job search support, and coaching after you're hired. Read the eligibility carefully: participants must be 15–30, legally eligible to work in Canada, facing challenges securing meaningful employment, and NEET — not currently in education, employment or training. Current students do not qualify. ACCES explicitly welcomes applicants from underrepresented communities. Funded in part by the Government of Canada's Youth Employment and Skills Strategy.
